Yes. SayCheese pairs two phones - one becomes the camera and the other becomes a live-preview remote with a shutter button. You see exactly what the camera phone sees and fire the shot from across the room.
Do I need Wi-Fi or an internet connection?
No. The two phones connect directly to each other over a local phone-to-phone link - Wi-Fi Direct on Android and the nearby local link on iPhone. It works with no internet, no router, and nothing is uploaded to the cloud. In an iPhone and Android pair, the iPhone joins the camera phone's own local network for the session - still no internet involved.
How do I take a group photo with everyone in it?
Prop the camera phone on a tripod, shelf, or table, walk into frame with the remote phone in hand, check the live preview so everyone is framed, then tap the shutter or say “cheese.” The photographer never has to sit the photo out again.
Can I take a photo with my voice?
Yes. SayCheese listens for the word “cheese,” so once everyone is ready you can capture completely hands-free - perfect for group shots and self-portraits where you can’t reach a button.

Can I use my smartwatch instead of a second phone?
